Hiteco at Ligna 2025
April 29, 2025Hiteco confirms its presence at Ligna 2025 (Hannover, 26 - 30 May): the world’s leading event dedicated to wood processing technologies.
At Ligna, in Stand D30 in Hall 15, Hiteco will present a number of new products for machine tools in the wood sector, including birotative heads, a new range of electric spindles and digital services (Hiteco Smart Package).
The new products on display at Ligna
For the manufacturers of technological solutions intended for wood construction, it will make its debut at the Tilt CLT (Cross-Laminated-Timber) fair, a bi-rotating head equipped with HSK100A electric spindle at 60 KW, Specifically designed to increase productivity in the cutting of CLT beams and panels with a thickness up to 400 mm.
In the spotlight is also Orbital 45°, a new bi-rotating head with incident axes at an angle of 45° to minimise the footprint of the electric spindle in horizontal position when working between two workpiece clamping bars. The geometry of the bi-rotating head with coaxial spindle axis at C-axis allows tools up to 200 mm in length to be used in the 500 mm diameter ball. Ideal for making eyelets and holes in thick panels, seats for concealed hinges and for shelf supports.
For high-speed machining on wood, plastics, advanced materials and integration systems on robotic arms, Hiteco presents Speedtech, a new range of high-rotation electric spindles that stand out for being light, equipped with quick and easy to install electrical connections. Because of these characteristics, these components are particularly suitable for technological solutions dedicated to the production of signs, eyewear, consumer electronics and fashion hardware.
Among the novelties there will also be the latest version of Axis-C configurable: ideal for compact operator groups, its strength is that it can be installed in different angles around the spindle axis, Thus leaving room for the drilling group and optimizing layout and footprint.
Hiteco’s innovations at Ligna also reflect the company’s consistent investments in services, digital transformation and AI - Artificial Intelligence. Visitors will be able to discover further updates of Hiteco Connect, the new version of the app downloadable from iOS and Android platforms: Thanks to the intelligent sensors applied to the electric spindles, it is possible to monitor their health status and performance in real time and at any time, in addition to analyzing all data from the same component with the aim of optimizing its use and maintenance.
