The Hiteco aggregate units come from a distant past, when in 1985, as an inside department of SCM, Hiteco designed the first electro spindle with automatic tool changer for the woodworking industry and at the same time a full range of aggregate units.

Thanks to the automatic tool changer and Hiteco aggregate units, woodworking machines have acquired a high level of operational flexibility that was crucial to the market success these machines have achieved in subsequent years.
