New spindle series with compact dimensions for machining composites, light alloys, cast iron, and mild steel.

The spindles are available in two power sizes within the same ø140 housing diameter: 27 kW - 31 Nm and 41.5 kW - 48 Nm.

The maximum speed of 24,000 rpm with air-oil or grease lubrication makes this series the ideal solution for both metal and composite cutting machines.

The HSK 63A taper, optimized bearing size, and steel housing ensure maximum stiffness, resulting in high surface finish quality and exceptional cutting accuracy.

This very compact spindle series has both front and rear bearings cooled:

• Lower working temperatures

• Longer lifetime

• Higher accuracy

are acheived.

The rotary union mounted on board as standard lets possible to internally cool the tool with:

• CTS Coolant with max pressure of 80 bar

• MQL air-oil with max pressure of 10 bar

• Air only with a max pressure of 10 bar and a max speed of 12,000 rpm

Cutting operations on composite, light alloy, cast iron and mild steel components are possible with the same spindle.

The iM Smart Sensor, included as standard, monitors machining vibration levels to warn the CNC machine about critical conditions, such as collisions, unbalanced tools, broken flutes, or incorrect cutting parameters.

Advantages

The spindle is equipped with a rotary joint that allows to cool the tool during the processing through the flow of refrigerant fluid through the shaft (CTS) or through minimal air-oil lubrication

Around the electrospindle nose there is a tool cooling distributor enable to cool it in each machine way

Front and back bearings are monitored from two temperature sensors able to signal abnormal operating temperatures

It is available the axial shaft displacement sensor as optional. It is able to report to the machine the spindle nose movement during the processing, allowing the machine to correct the tool positioning
